‘삼킴 saaamkiiim’은 세 명의 김씨가 모여 결성한 일렉트로어쿠스틱 즉흥음악 트리오로, 해금(김예지), 일렉트로닉스(김대희), 타악기(김선기)로 구성되어 있다. 이들은 소리와 감정, 그리고 잊힌 흔적의 층위를 탐구하며 새로운 음악적 가능성을 실험한다. 삼킨다는 행위는 단순히 외부의 자극이나 경험을 받아들이는 것을 넘어, 그것을 내면에 흡수하고 새로운 형태로 재구성하는 창조적 과정이다. 이는 우리가 종종 외면하거나 잊어버린 감정, 소음, 그리고 사회적 맥락을 다시 환기하고, 그 속에서 새로운 의미를 발견하려는 시도를 상징한다. 삼키는 순간, 그것은 더 이상 외부의 것이 아니라 우리의 내부에서 새로운 정체성과 생명을 얻게 된다. ‘삼킴 saaamkiiim’은 이 삼키는 행위를 능동적이고 창조적인 과정으로 재해석하며, 잊혀진 것과 공존하고 새로운 관계를 맺는 가능성을 모색한다. 일상의 소음, 고요, 그리고 소외된 소리를 흡수해 독창적인 음악적 언어로 변형시키는 것이다.

‘삼킴 saaamkiiim’ is an electroacoustic improvisational trio formed by three members with the surname Kim. The group consists of Haegeum (Yeji Kim), Electronics (Dey Kim), and Percussion (Sunki Kim).

They experiment with new musical possibilities by exploring the layers of sound, emotion, and forgotten traces. The act of swallowing is not merely the acceptance of external stimuli or experience; it is a creative process of absorbing them internally and reconstructing them into a new form. This symbolizes the attempt to re-examine emotions, noises, and social contexts that we often neglect or forget, and to discover new meaning within them. The moment something is swallowed, it ceases to be external; it gains a new identity and life within us.

‘삼킴 saaamkiiim’ reinterprets the act of swallowing as an active and creative process, seeking the possibility of coexisting with forgotten elements and forging new relationships. The trio absorbs everyday noise, silence, and marginalized sounds, transforming them into a unique musical language.
